| Botanical forms draw my attention - in the field and in the garden - and beg for a closer look. The digital tools I use lend themselves to this. The scanner sees with no fixed focus, but with attention that gives equal weight to every millimeter of surface, rendering intimate details and textures. Software allows shifts of scale and color that reveal unexpected relationships. Sequential images document variations in form, or changes over time. | ||
